Satukaupunki / Fairy Tale City exhibition will be open at Laituri from 29 January to 16 February. Heimo Hatakka’s and Ilja Karsikka’s city planning fairy tale raises the question of whose terms the city is planned on. And what would the city look like if children and childlike people were the ones to decide upon matters? The Helsinki City Planning Department’s exhibition space Laituri invites young residents of the city to step inside the Fairy Tale City and express their ideas on a better city and happier buildings. Laituri will be giving out the fairy tale book Keksijä Punainen ja hatun varjo to the first 500 children who visit the exhibition and draw their own dream house. A happier city begins at Laituri!

Kaivopuisto exhibition is open in Helsinki Railway station in Postihalli from 8th to 21st of of October. The official opening is on Wednesday 10th of October 4 pm. Welcome!

Helsinki FRESH exhibition takes place in Direktorenhaus gallery in Berlin. There you can experience our Kaivopuisto project and other art and design projects from 25 designers from Helsinki. The exhibition is open from 15th of June to 8th of July. Ilja, Samae and Antti building the Kaivopuisto installation in June in Direktorenhaus, Berlin.

11 / 2012 Metka matka / Fun Journey: The10th Anniversary of The Finnish Association of Illustrators exhibition in Päivälehden Museo. In the exhibition there's children's book illustrations from 18 Finnish contemporary illustrators, also my original paintings for Sintti Silmusuu book. The exhibition is open from 21st of March to 30th of September 2012.
